I assume the snowpack amounts are in inches? I am going to hike in a month at Molas Lake, and I am hopeful 21 inches on June 1 can melt from then until now. We are approaching via south face to Sultan Mtn.

It's inches of water, not inches of snow. In late spring early summer, 21 inches of water is probably equivalent to somewhere between 6-9 feet of snow.

Website for snow depth is- wcc.nrcs.usda.gov
Click on the map>click on snow depth>zoom in on the map and find the Molas Lake dot and click on it >click on 30 day data and you’re there.
44 inches as of today.

That's some wet snow if 21 inches is only 44 inches of snow!

Can’t testify to it’s accuracy, just it’s content.

My plan is to hike there July 2nd. My hope is there will be adequate melt over June. The hike we are planning is south facing. I then plan to hit the La Plata Range west of Durango. I had wanted to hike Sundog/Redcloud/Sunshine, but I think there will be too much snow this year.
