What happened to my maps?

by nader » Wed Jan 15, 2020 1:55 pm

I have noted that the maps that I had submitted as pictures on many of my old pages have been deleted. It is odd that the the maps have been selectively deleted while all of the other pictures are still there. check out these pages please:

and many more. What happened?

A while back, mine were deleted too if they weren't in .jpg or .JPG form.

As far I can remember they were all jpg. They might have been JPEG or jpeg. Does that make a difference?
It is a shame that they were lost. I do not want to redraw maps from memory and potentially create a misleading map.

As Scott mentioned, any image that was a PNG file was accidentally deleted a while back as we transitioned to a new image server. Unfortunately, most of them are unrecoverable at this point unless you have saved a local copy.

If you have a local copy saved, I would be happy to help get them fixed.
