Why four days?

scott,
well it was either 3 day or 4 with Mountain Guides - though I rather just build a team myself?
and I am in no hurry to summit too?

It depends on if I will be working in Western Nevada that time of year. I'll find out soon.

Four days seems like too many though (three days is still a very leisurely pace), unless you are climbing other peaks too. It would be hard to get a permit for four days (unless you already have a permit).

Guided trips are four days only because they spend two days training before the climb. They don't actually use four days on the climb; two are training days.
