Added a bunch of snowshoeing pics to Tumbledown Mountain. Nothing too special, just figured I'd pander for some votes.

I'm not sure whether or not to write up my Washington trip from this weekend. Wash has 30 TRs already, does it need one more?

My theory with trip reports is that I write them for myself. Mountain pages are different; those are intended for an audience. If ya' feel like doing a TR for Washington, go for it; if not, the site won't suffer for the lack of one.

Congrats BTW.

Thanks Puma.

Quincy Quarries is more-or-less complete and has accordingly been promoted to Mountain/Rock status.

Dogback

by BobSmith » Mon Mar 23, 2009 1:10 am

I just added Dogback Mountain. My first summitpost for quite a while. It's been a lousy past year for hiking for me. Good to get back into it.

Only now am I just realizing that there are 2 Crawford Path pages that have apparently co-existed for several years.

Here's the other one:

For now, I have detached mine from the Mount Washington page and left it attached to the other involved peaks. The other page technically has seniority and I will nuke mine if y'all think I should.

Keep it. They both compliment each other.
You can pay me later.

Looks like it goes back to the days when SP didn't allow a route page to be attached to multiple pages. Should have been merged a long time ago. There are (or used to be) a bunch of other pages like this, such as for the trails involved in the lincoln-lafayette loop.

I haven't seen a page for Little Jackson Mountain (34XX feet) in Maine. I'm heading up tomorrow and will make a page in the next few days.

Thanks kakakiw. Your REI gift certificate is in the mail. :)

Also, woodsxc, there is a Little Jackson page ... I actually carried it as a reference when I hiked it a couple of summers ago. Have fun. It's a great peak.

Sweet! Nice mountain page. Is it big Jackson that doesn't have a page?

Next time. We didn't make it up there today. :(
