Career change?

I offer no advice but sympathy from someone in a similar situation (w/o the 10 weeks to climb though - G-DAMN!). Long ago I've taken on the advice mentioned by someone above (paraphrasing):

I hold on real tight to my ankles & then grin & bear.

Sorry, I just don't think shit gets better (it's a job, it's not supposed to be fun or fulfilling).

I saw your head hitting the keyboard cartoon. Awesome.

The first time I saw that cartoon was last year with a friend of mine who writes and sells his own software. We had a very good laugh from it. Your not alone in your suffering.

Does it help to know the rest of the software devolopment world feels the same way?

So, why do you think you don't it well? (one day I spent about 6 hours working something out only to find my problem was a single semicolon) Most of us stink at it, but are in denial. Either that or get a Mac. The good news is, others, most likely, will never find out, unless your responsible for the blue screen of death. In which case, yes, please quit. :wink:
