I'm plus 2 inches ape index. We have a home-made "Ape Indexicator" at our house, and lots of climbers come through. Doesn't seem to be much of a correlation between grades and index. Though measuring it is fun party fare. One guy measured out plus 8 inches!

+8" index. That's going some!

Anyone seen that Image of Joe Brown in his book, The Hard Years? Page 64.
