Lost J Tree pass - would they replace it with a receipt?

by Luciano136 » Sat Mar 20, 2010 3:41 am

The freakin' card fell in a crack in between the dashboard and the windshield of the car and there is no way to get it out. Do you think I could get a replacement if I showed my credit card statement? I happened to remember the day I bought it...

What do you think? It's 80 freakin' dollars!!

I kind of doubt it, because they could think you were trying to scam an extra freebie using old your receipt.

But it's free to try!

I guess that's true but wouldn't it be weird that I pay after they refuse instead of using the card I supposedly already have?

Have you tried flipping your car in a rollover :?:
You might also find a few bucks in loose change
Well at least you know where your pass is, unlike some people :D

Hook up with another buddy that has a valid Golden Eagle pass until your old pass would have expired, then pluck down another $80 and let the good times roll

A. Come in to the park early and leave late to avoid the ranger at the guard gate.
B. Don't park at any major trail heads.
C. Fly low, under the radar. Keep your nose clean. Leave no trace. etc. etc.

This works in most national parks.

From the upcoming book, "The Dirtbagger's Guide to Earth."

Dude... you live in SoCal. Just find some local chop shop dudes to pull your dash. They can do it clean and even put it back in for you. All for a sixer.
