Quote "novel idea to take the electronic part of the car key in my pocket, and leave the real keys in the car"

Can't wonder but to think... wouldn't the real key be smaller and lighter than the electronic one?

Been out on my own for 2 days on a ski-tour, taking photos. I had one slight fall - nothing much really. Got back to my car, opened it up and put my stuff in the back, phoned my wife to say I was on my way. Then tried to start the thing, the key was slightly bent (was in my pocket when I fell over and I landed on that side) and wouldn´t fit in the ignition. Had to get towed back to the next town to get a new key cut. Now I carry keys in my rucksack top pocket.
