As for the women - I believe that Oh Eun-Sun will be the first. She is actually in Annapurna basecamp preparing for the climb of her last peak. And why shouldn't she make it? - now that there is such a fine track done by Edurne and her team.

Name Oh will be misunderstood. "Ms Oh" or "Miss Oh", everybody knows name it is. They could use Ms and be polite.
The race is bad and stupid. The big problem is the media want drama. Korean television is the worst. One reporter claimed Edurne Pasaban had not reach the Annapurna summit. Edurne Pasaban attacked back and said Oh Eun-sun had not reach Kangchenjunga summit. This is the very stupid thing. Making conflict when there is no reason. Oh Eun-sun even had to explain and apologize for not making Annapurna on Chuseok last year. It is a very important celebration day in Korea. It was expected of Oh Eun-sun to summit on Chuseok. This is pressure! Oh Eun-sun wrote to Korean media.Carl Valter wrote:Race is bad. Endangers competitors. These are dangerous mountains, Annapurna especially.
