Sorry it's so big. This is the view from the outhouse on Mt.Victoria in Canada.

I'm told, when you sit, one cheek is in British Columbia and the other is in Alberta. :D

Here is the view (approximately) from the outhouse by the Castle Mountain hut. Sorry I don't have a photo of the outhouse itself--it's about two steps from a 1,000 drop!. A very cool place to loosen your load...

Nice one Steve. I was hoping to see Castle Mtn included. I really have to get to Neil Colgan one of these years.

Oooh goody...
These all look like awesome places to drop the kids off at the pool. :D

From the Luxury Latrine at Larch Knob, near Spider Gap, Spider Glacier, and Spider Meadow in the N. Cascades of WA, you get a fine view of 9100 ft Seven Fingered Jack and 9000ft Mt. Maude. (approx view)

And now, for something completely different:

One of three restrooms inside Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. Just tossing a little love to the MIdwest here.

I would very much like them to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Like the can in the shot of the Bugaboos, the organic toilet on the approach to Mt. Shuksan's Sulphide Glacier has one great view of Mt. Baker to the west.

Another great setting while sitting on the pot (composting loo) is below the Qien Sabe glacier in Boston Basin, WA. A veiw of Johannesburg's north face, and Cascade Pass is tough to beat.
