Attention.

I love it when Sierra Snobs diss San Gorgonio. Keeps the mountain a little less crowded and freer of assholes.

Ummmmm.....what? Where in this thread has anybody dissed your beloved San Gorgonio? Pete made his...interesting....comment, but that was more of an isolated, strange outburst as opposed to "Sierra Snobs."

Discuss.

I invited 1000 to come ski BC down in San G Wilderness becuz I am pretty damn jazzed about having wilderness that is skiable only 80 miles from my front door. He is such an f'ing snob who can not politely decline becuz maybe it's just too far to drive for a strange experience that he has to treat me (and others) like some distasteful insect. Fuck you 1000!! YEAH! Stay away from MY mountains!
Pretty disgusting how someone can think/act like they are better than others just by virtue of where they live. dipshit!

??? My web site has no e-mail facility. My e-mail address is listed in a robot-proof manner; I'm assuming that most people can translate that into a real address.

So your e-mail doesn't work. Must be one sick address setting. Me, one click and it comes right up, your free, even subsidized, ticket to wild glory, big time. Course that doesn't go well here at SP.

Pete, it takes really small effort to translate that e-mail address, as given, to something that will reach me. Many people have done it. I don't embed a clickable e-mail address because that is an invitation to spammer robots. I'm not selling anything, and frankly, I don't care to be contacted by people who can't figure out the extremely simple translation.

I managed to get all my patients seen first thing this morning, with the added bonus of having my last one be in Mammoth. By 1245 I was at Eagle, rock star parking since no one's here yet. First day on the hill this season, just cruisin' to get the legs ready for another season on the sticks. Good morning, quads!

Cruised all the way across the mountain, stayed low to just get the feel of it all again, enjoyed the views...

Demoed a pair of Verdicts, breaking in the new boots. Basically: it turned into entirely too much orange...

Conditions were simply AWESOME. Can't wait to hit it again tomorrow, then head out to do some BC this weekend!!

It's hard to really view a negative comment by Pete as an "isolated, strange outburst". I'm not sure there's been a single post he's made in which he hasn't bitched about the Sierra Club, SP, or the OP.

Just got done shoveling over 8" of the fresh white stuff. Not as light as the last three recent storms. But still lighter than the normal Sierra concrete that I usually get here at 7K'.

Wait 'til I bust out the new ski pants... :D

Oh, and something that Deb and I actually agree on, the Big Draw between Sanny G and Japson is just completely skigasmic. These are from a few years ago, before I got back on the sticks, but I would definitely find myself cruisin' southbound to hang with the gang and play here:
