Utah Mountaineering Spring 2011

by Travis Atwood » Thu May 05, 2011 6:46 pm

I thought it was a good idea to revive this ongoing thread with the hope that we can get some good SP groups together this spring as we've done in years past.

This Saturday, a group of us will be doing Red/White/Red/White. We will leave the White Pine Trailhead at 5:00, climb the west ridge of White Baldy, traverse over to Red Baldy and then head down. Ax, Crampons, Snowshoes, etc...

It looks like we are going to postpone the RWRW trip until next weekend. To much activity going on today in the canyon and I'd rather play it safe. I'll post exact details later on on the week for anybody who is interested in going.

Also someone left a couple of newish-looking Black Diamond pick protectors on the NW slopes of Red Baldy. Let me know if you want them back.
