Hi Yatsek - sorry it took me so long to find this post. Difficult question - honestly, I don't know what to say. As to geography, Borut is absolutely right! Otherwise, I can simply give you my very personal and thus very subjeticve idea of the matter: during the centuries of the Hapsburg Empire and from 1848 on, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, what is nowadays Slovenia was part of Austria, while Croatia belonged to the multi-ethnic kingdom of Hungary. Thus I have always seen Slovenia as being southern central European. But I'm open to objective objections!yatsek wrote:Thanks, Borut, for your opinion. I wonder what EricChu would say.

Just as I say - from a geographical point of view, Borut is completely right!yatsek wrote:EricChu,
Thanks - that's exactly what I wanted to know, i.e. your very personal view. But I'd also like to hear your reply to Borut's BTW:borutb wrote:BTW, Austria is much "easterner" than Slovenia.
Last but not least: Welcome to EC Europe.
