Hiking the Sewards

by beaudittl » Sun Nov 20, 2011 8:46 pm

Hey all. I'm headed up to tag Seward, Donaldson, Emmons, and Seymour this coming weekend and was wondering if someone could help me out with some info. How far down Corey's Rd can you drive? I understand there is a gate after Stony Creek that is closed in the winter months, anyone know how close this is to the trailhead for the Corey's Trail? Trail 129? Any info is appreciated. Happy trails and have a great Thanksgiving!

I don't think the gate would be closed this early (it was open at Christmas time when I was there in 2009) but it is a frequently discussed topic over at ADKhighpeaks.com.
