After reading of the recent few deaths in the news lately, this is a welcome relief to see & hear.
Good to hear that he had the stamina and held on for that long. Props to him & the rescuers!

Anyone noticed the commentator said, 'Experienced Hiker...and took a wrong turn.' For once, THAT was a refreshing thing to hear from a news reporter instead of the ubiquitious, 'Experienced climber.'
To the non-outdoorsy type, they don't know the difference. So props to the reporter for not embellishing the story...rare thing.
