I had only 2 ice screws and too many people without ice climbing experience. We ran out of time and decided to retreat at 3pm. If you take ice fall route (very interesting), perhaps you could retrieve our picket we set for a rappel station.

Ice fall route? Where do you mean? The ice fall on the left of the glacier where it turns or the typical one by Shastina on the right?

The one on the very left (looking up) of the middle bergshrand, broken up with icy walls, see the pics.
