After being closed due to the Cascades fire the TH opened this weekend with limited parking. This is good cause I'm coming out in two weeks.

How is the road condition to the trail head? Is it pretty rough, or will a Subaru make it okay? I know its a little late in the season, but I'm contemplating a climb with in the next month. How is the snow pack and will it usually hold though September? I want to avoid a dry scree slog!

Snow melted out early this year and you can get to the TH in a car so your Subaru will be fine. I'd call trout lake for conditions but you will not be on snow until well into the climb.
