Europe Summer 2016- seeking sport climbing partner(s)

by zalattar » Mon Mar 21, 2016 1:23 pm

Hi Folks,

I'll be in Europe this summer and totally free in July/August.

I'm fairly flexible as to locqtion (verdon gorge, les calanques, crags in northern spain).

I have all the requisite gear for sport climbing and im comfortable in multi-pitch. Fresh to an area I climb 10a lead, once im warmed up I can do 10b/c.

I'm down to focus on one spot or move around really I just want to climb!

Feel free to respond here or find me on fbook: zain a. alattar (orange helmet in prof pic)

Try to get on camptocamp.org, it´s mostly in french but the best place to hook up with partners in France. Most people there speak some english though.

Hi Zain,
I'm in Europe for the rest of the year and thought we should talk to see if our travels plans might match up. Perhaps August somewhere? I want to make it to Verdon but not sure I would get down there until September. I expect I will be in the Alps focusing on climbing peaks and hiking with my wife. Let me know if you have any interest climbing peaks in the alps or rock routes further north then you mentioned. We probably climb about the same level.
I'm from Bend, let's climb here before we climb at Smith.

Yeow, thanks Rick.
