Sawtooth conditions

by MikeHolmes » Sat Jun 27, 2015 9:43 pm

Boise is forecast to hit 109 degrees Sunday.

With that in mind, what kind of conditions is the Sawtooth Wilderness (ID) experiencing? I'm hiking a 65-mile loop in about three weeks. I'm sure the passes won't hold snow then, but any peaks left with substantial snow by then?

Thanks for any input.

very unlikely there will be much snow left except some of the north facing slopes and couloirs. There are good webcams in stanley and redfish lake you can check out and there are usually some recent photos on idahosummits.com. Have fun
