I'll go anytime between mid-May and Mid-June. Hotlum-Wintun would be my favorite choice.

I'm thinking about Hotlum-Wintun for Memorial weekend with a small group of friends. But with all the snow this year the east-side trailheads may not be accessible by vehicle.

Depends on work/plans etc..I hope I can be in. Which route?

Hotlum-Wintun is my first choice. Since I have never been on this mountain before I was also thinking about the trade route unless a local joins us.

If anybody gets up there this weekend and manages to take pictures of that upper part of Cascade Gulch it would be most appreciated :)

After you get up almost to the top of Misery Hill, near the summit plateau you should be able to look down on the Whitney Glacier and the upper portion of Cascade Gulch. That's the general vicinity of where the above pics were taken.

That is, if you get that far ;) Any pics of that area would be highly appreciated !

Snowflake, -As of today our group looks like 4 skiers and 2 booters, but people are likely to change their mind about the route or just back out between now and Memorial Weekend.

Robin, -please keep sharing updates on conditions. I'll be trying to keep informed so I'll know how many additional days of cross country travel will be needed to get to the eastside from the point of closure.
