Not sure about conditions, but at least Horseshoe Meadows road was opened this week.

As of 6/10/11, the trail was largely snow-free until the Cottonwood Lakes Basin, then snow coverage was pretty solid. The snow was well consolidated, with very little post-holing. Both Army and New Army Passes were covered in steep snow. The crest from Army Pass up to Langley was mostly snow-free. Crampons and ice axe would be helpful for crossing any of the passes.
