It doesn't really matter to me. I was just throwing the idea out there. I thought a winter gathering like in CO could be fun (involving a snowy peak )
I'm up for anything. Just trying to find something appealing to a broad public...

Not at all! I just thought it would be good to stick to a level that most members are familiar/comfortable with. Not everyone has ropes, harnesses, etc. Most folks (hopefully LOL) do have a pair of hiking shoes...
