Tights?

by climberslacker » Wed Nov 18, 2009 2:06 am

Hey,

Im 15 and so wasn't around when the whole climbing tights thing took off... but what was the reason for them? I think their funny but also make you look like a BAMF to be climbing in tights...

I'm making a one man fashion comeback! I can't wait for our spring break Moab trip so that I can actually enjoy climbing in tights

that pic came out of the fact that we were climbing really really wet ice and it didn't matter what you were wearing, you were getting soaked and cold either way, so why not tights? almost did it without my shirt on, but that'd be ridiculous, and I think the white glare would blind the camera and ruin the photo ;)

My profile pics of me last weekend.

Climbing in spandex gives you strength and courage because you know that you can’t puss out or everyone will make fun of you.[/img]

nicely done sir, I need to make it out to Smith sometime. My buddy keeps talking the place up. At least you are getting the folks there used to it for me, therefore I won't need that extra courage :)

Should have figured someone from/living in Butte would be wearing those tights. I'm from Butte originally. Living in Bend, OR now, just a stone's throw from Smith. Let me know if you ever make it over. I know my way around pretty well
