by seb » Sun Jan 19, 2014 11:47 pm

I have been looking for a decent all round tent that can stand up to mountain conditions i dont want a big price tag (£210 is 3 weeks of pay for me) my max price is £210 though i have been looking at the vango halo 200 seems like a good tent for mountain use okay vents and a decent weight and good strength, any body got anything better?

What mountains? Himalayas have slightly different conditions than the Lake District.

Take an educated guess :P im thinking a Scottish winter though i want to be able to use this for 3 season use to so this means good ventilation which is the main issue i have found that all the light weight single layer tents all have awful venting, any body found a 4 season single skin with good ventilation doesn't weigh allot and wont break the bank. (not asking for much :P)

Try the Nemo Meta 2.

I have one and like it. Stands up to nasty weather.
