It's not Colorad-but Colorado folks (us) have been there. If you want to see what climbing in Glacier is like, check out the following. The images Vern and I uploaded are already gone from the What's New page, so you'll need to access them from the links below or from our profile pages.

Vern put up the mountain: Rising Wolf Mountain

I put up the route: South Face

Don't miss this stuff! It's pretty spectacular!

Yep. Me too. We managed to climb North Maroon in iffy weather, and Bierstadt via the very fun east ridge last week, but all other climbs have been rained out or cancelled in August. We've had to cencel for mountains this year. Really sucks. Hopefully we're on a drying trend in the coming weeks. Colorado is just plain soggy, and the haze and humidity are driving me nuts. Enough already! Utah looks better all the time.

We're headed to the San Juans this Saturday for a week of climbing. 2 years ago a hurricane came through the area and really made a mess of things. I am really praying for nice, dry, pleasant fall weather next week. Knowing my luck, I expect to get hosed so I've got well researched contingency plans in place.

As for What's New Colorado from me, see my earlier post about Glacier. It's not Colorado, but it's damn nice. I encourage Colorado folks to go to Glacier!

It seems only on the weekends though. Weekdays have had good weather when we have to work at the office.
