Looks a nice route...

...on a nice mountain. I haven't been to this area - maybe one for the future... although my days of climbing AD and III+ are going to be limited I think! Maybe the ordinary route then...

Hi Mark,
there are two great fine Areas - Aurine Alps and Pusteresi Alps -very close to Valle Aurina, which is the Northernmost valley of Italy, even if the characteristics of this valley are Tyrolese. These two groups quite deserve a visit: there's a lot of good classic and pleasant ascents, as Picco dei Tre Signori, Pizzo Rosso di Predoi, Monte Nevoso, Gran Pilastro, Sasso Nero and many others!
