Pine Island Ledge

Pine Island Ledge in the color and glory of the fall. Pine Island Ledge stands above Pine Creek in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and forms a narrow ridge between Pine Island Run and Pine Creek. There is no formal trail that is used to get to the scenic views but more of a herd path from the people who have come here before. The ledge is on the east rim of the canyon and this photo is looking north along the canyon rim. (October 12, 2008)
