Getting There

30-40 minutes from "Bivacco Pedroni Del Pra"

Route Description

As you cansee from attached picture The Silver Ribbon variant is a variant of NWGrat (C. Klucker, M. Barbaria, 1900). It is following apparent “silver” veinleft from Trubifix route. It starts in a corner 5m right from the vein.Directly up, crossing little overhang, you will reach “silver” vein (one pitonleft). Then just follow the vein (slippery ledge, cracks, corner) to thebelaying station bellow an overhang (2 nd piton left). From the belayingstation climb to the right over an edge, crossing a corner and just follow the “silver”vein to the large corner. Continue following the corner up until reaching belayingstation with ring. Follow NW Grat (C. Kucker, M. Barbarina, 1900) to the top ofthe mountain. First pitch has 53m and difficulty 6a. Second pitch could be 45m5c+. A set of friends, few little stopers and set Ball nuts (no: 1-4) has been used. Firstpitch could be easily split in two if needed (for 50m ropes).

Essential Gear

Set of Friends and Ballnuts (or few pitons). 1st bellay station with one pitton only. Second assembled with ring.
