I live just 21 miles (as the crow flies) from Silver Star and have run/hiked the trails innumerable times. It's an underrated mountain with tremendous attributes.

I see SIlver Star every day on my drive on I-205 to work. Sometimes Adams peeks over the top of it. Sounds like you have nice views from where you live.
Thanks for the pictures. I lived in Dole Valley at the base of Silver Star for 25 years. My wife's ashes are on the mountain as mine will be some day. I have been there many times on every route. The wild flowers are something to see.
