Spotted Gentian (Gentiana punctata) near the Kofler Lakes

Coming from the direction of the Bärenluegscharte, I'm on the east side of the lakes, and still a little higher. But I'm already well below the level of almost bare rocks, and these big flowers give the appearance of much more friendly terrain. 28 July 2014.
