"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Good route description, brought back memories from the mid-seventies when we did this route with our children of 7 and nine years. Unfortunately the summit was buried in clouds, and we didn't have the nice view you had.

Re: Good route description,Oh, Ejnar, what a pity! I think it had been all the same a great day for you and yours! A question: was in the mid-seventies the stone-shelter on the summit already in place?
Thanks and cheers.

Re: Good route description,Yes, it was a nice day, and a great experience for the kids, anyway. There was no shelter of any kind on the summit then, but I have an old (1905) Baedeker guide to Norway which mentions that on the top there then was a hut where you could get champagne!

Re: Good route description,Ah, interesting! So, it's clear that the shelter was re-built in the last period.
