Looks like a cool place... reminiscent of the few scattered areas here in Ontario where one can climb and hike... nice page!
Thanks for the vote and the comments. Alan
We mock what we don't understand.
I like bushwhacks. They're grrrrrrrrrreat!
Excellent page! If it wasn't for the Wichitas, I think living in Oklahoma would be intolerable.
Amen, brother. Thanks for the vote. Alan
I never get tired of the Wichita Mountains! Thanks.
There should be at least one sunset photo :-)
Good idea! I'll work on it. Thanks for the vote. Alan
Sweet page--looks like a lovely area. Thanks for introducing it to me.

Wow! Another one of those funky granite domes in Oklahoma! I love reading about that range. Didn't know anything about them before I found SummitPost! Great page.
More great stuff from our Oklahoma mountaineer and his charming mountaineer wife!
Brock, Thanks for the vote. San Juans: September 3-11.
Did you say Wham? I'll be returning to MT from 11 days in the winds on Aug 31. Still working on that client thing to see if I've got time for another week off.....
Wham, Arrow, the Trinities, Jagged. Do you have a harness, some locking 'biners, a couple of full runners, and a helmet?
Yes, Yes, can't find them, and Yes. What types of routes are you planning?
Vestal: Wham Ridge (5.4) Arrow: North Ridge (5.6) Trinity Traverse: Class 4 Jagged: North Face (5.2) All those routes are in the Roach's 13er guide. Don't worry about the runners.....I have plenty. I'm assuming you can rappel?
Yes and I just sent you an email not to long ago.
Nice page, Alan.
