The diffuse source of Grains Gill at the edge of the Allan Crags summit plateau

As I got higher, following the Grains Gill, it got more and more faint. There wasn't a clear source. I think the vegetation acts as a sponge, soaking up the rain and gradually releasing it. That would explain why it starts like this, and gets bigger and bigger lower on the slopes. 24 May 2012.
