Oh, the fall colors!You have brought the best of what mountains offer in the fall, color, dusting of snow, calm waters to get a mirror-like reflection. Time to head out to the mountains.

GreatGreat shot Eric! As well as all the others from this trip you made. I have never visited the alps in Autumn and this photo once again shows I really have to. The distance is a bit of a problem though..Hopefully next year :-)

Re: GreatThanks a lot, Lodewijk! :-) Tip: Best time to see the Alps in the full glory of autumn is end of October / beginning of November. For mountain lakes above 2000 meters, where one sees also larches, I would say mid-October. Right now seems to be a good period for the high mountains as well - I just saw a photo taken today - November 8th - by Gabriele Corvini from the summit of Lagginhorn!
