The Nordgrattürmchen in the summer season ...

The Nordgrattürmchen is the highest, of the three parts of the Rappenwand. On this photo, this small climbing-tower represents for the Rappenwand, the northern part of the site. She was seen from her base, at the south. With a total height of almost 35 meters, it seems impossible to climb easely this small tower. But with a very big chance, we can easely enough, climbing this tower, on her northern small face ! A natural stair is facilitating the ascension on the top of this very savage tower ... Difficulties levels situated between I and II ! This tower is a perfekt site, for contemplating all the Glasental valley, with their fantastic and savage sandstone's rocky formations ... A very impressive spectacle ! Totally lost, deeply into the leafy forest, the Nordgrattürmchen is hard to approch and to penetrate (there's no path for going to the base ! ). But, the site is very exciting and the summital panorama is atomical ! Rappenwand is my favorite rock, in all the Glasental valley : great ... To visit in big emergency !!!
