Beautiful Scenery

That's an awesome ridgeline! Makes me want to get to Wyoming...maybe 2010.

Looks like you had a great (and adventurous) trip from what I've browsed through so far.

Mark, I keep saying you have to get out to Wyoming and Montana; the mountains aren't as high and (in general) accessible as they are in Colorado, but it's a totally different game, and feel.

Anyway, it was a great trip, and in a few weeks, I'm off to Montana. You can't ask for much more than a summer with visits to both Greater Yellowstone and Glacier-Bob Marshall.

My Colorado trip is already planned for this year, but don't be surprised if later this year I start peppering you with stupid PM questions on the Tetons and Winds. (I'll do some homework first though).

Incredible Shot!

Only range in America the rivals the Winds in commanding respect are the Sierras. Still a large portion of the Sierras can be dayhiked. Cheers, Brian

Thanks, Brian. I have to agree about the beauty of the Sierra, but I would add Glacier National Park to that short list as well. For various reason, the Wyoming Absarokas are the mountains I love best, but I have long said that for scenery itself, nothing seems to rival Glacier and the High Sierra. And of course, both the Winds and the Sierra have some excellent rock for climbing.
