The Swiss Alps at their best
Mark is approaching the summit of Ludwigshöhe (4341m), with a whole range of big peaks in the background. The nearest one, on the left, is Liskamm (4527m). The day before, on the summit of Pyramide Vincent, we decided against climbing it because we didn't like the look of the snow covered summit ridge. If you look closely, you can just see the top of the Matterhorn (4477.5m) sticking out on its right.
Further away, the fine pyramid left of center is Dent Blanche (4357m). And the other beautiful pyramid, far on the right, is Weisshorn (4506m).
