The western panorama of the Rappenwand summit

This picture was taken in summer 2007, in the region of Erfweiler. The Rappenwand is the biggest and the most spectacular rock, of all the Glasental valley. But, unfortunately, is the Rappenwand closed to the hikers and to the climbers, during the period, situated between begin february and end july (cause : breeding of peregrines falcons ! ). This photo was taken, the 30th August 2007 and the site was free of access ! This magnificient panorama is showing you the valley of Erfweiler, with several secondary and weekends houses. At the background, on the left, you can see the city of Dahn and the mountain of the Eyberg (which is the highest of the Dahn area, with an altitude of 513 meters ... ). On the right, the summit of Hochberg is visible (altitude 420 meters).
