This view from the summit...

This view from the summit captures virtually all the road above treeline. The hairpin turn is on the far right. From here, the sections of road to the mine and the ridge saddle on the left are not visible. The "truck here" is a relatively flat spot where I parked my 4x4 on two different trips; first in Aug 1984 and then in July 1989 and spent the night there. What a view at night and sunrise. Blue Lake can be seen near the top and just right of the center of the photo. This photo date: September 21, 1978.
