Different than expected
The chained section felt much like the cables on Half Dome, but I was surprised to find some sections on the riffled summit plateau to be even steeper and slicker. Could easily see how an unprepared climber would be injured up there... but luckily those sections were generally sheltered from the incessant wind.

Didn't climb it
The chain cable doesn't begin at the base to discourage people that feel uneasy on steep slopes. We chose not to climb the rock in respect of the local aboriginal tribes.
