Overview

A curious situation exists regarding this trail. It is apparent that the local aboriginal tribe has the power to control climbing on Uluru. They say that they don't want you to climb it, but they don't ban it. That makes me believe that they receive revenue from the park entry fees that are collected, which must be important to their well being. It seems to me that the principal interests among Australians to visit the park is to climb Uluru, which is why the local aborigines reluctantly allow it. I recommend going to the park but avoid the temptation to climb the rock.

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
