OfflineA Little About Me
Hi everyone. I live in Boise, Idaho and started climbing at age 12. Now I have grandkids and am older and no longer climb per say. Not that I havn't been known to scramble, work boulder problems or summit a easy peak if I am near one. But for the most part, I have retired from climbing. I was focused on Rock and Alpine climbing and did my share in the PNW. I was and will always be a Trad climber. Enjoyed the rock gyms for a workout and focusing on balance and problem solving.
I taught 4 of my relatives to climb and one went on to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and summit Mt. Hood multiple times as well as bag a few peaks in Europe. I have been known to hold onto a few things out of memories or experiences tied with those objects. I am starting to let go of some of that now and will be posting them on this forum.
My favorite mountain of all time is the Eigerwand. One of my bucket list items is to visit it and possibly hike the ridge that ties it into other neighboring peaks. It is a pleasure to be on this site. Thanks THS.
