What zoom?Thanks a lot for such valuable scenery taken in the midst of winter:)
Was there also such a special kind of weather pattern like in the Tatras (temeperatures up to +8C at Skalnaté pleso for a long period of wintertime due to inversion?)

Don't remember the exact zoom used, nothing extreme.
Half meter snow cover up there, quite exceptionally that poor winter in the area. Rather mild temperatures with maybe -8 in the morning. Amazing sunrise scenery after overnight stay at Plystsye hut. Nobody around.
Any winter hikes in your plans Luk?

Re: What zoom?My estimate is at least 20 or 30x optical zoom...
During my Easters visit temperature was -6 in the morning.
My focus is on the project Biodiversity SK_CZ and nearest plan is to visit watch tower (hide) in the Strážov hils. I will try to hear felines during their mating season.
This winter seems to be the mildest in all I have ever experienced:)
