Overview
| the Pizzo dei Tre Signori is one of the most popular mountains of the Western Orobic Alps.
Its name tells the story of the area : some centuries ago it was the border point where the 3 "signorie" : Venice (now Bergamo province), Milan (now Lecco province) and Grigioni (now Sondrio province) met (or divide)
It is an easy mountain, easily accessible from its 3 main sides, along good paths that only require a certain effort due to the difference in elevation that is always over the 1000 m
I've climbed this summit, some years ago, during the Easter holidays, making one of the finest ski-mountaneering trips in the range (I think that only the one to Grignone can be compared as beauty and effort) |
Getting There and accomodations
3 main ways to access it :
from Sondrio side (N) - along the Val Gerola
