Waterfall and Shake Hole

Waterfall and Shake Hole

A fantastic waterfall gushes down a shake hole into its splash pool within a cave near Abergavenny in South Wales. The light catches the water with the camera set on a 2.5second shutter it looks smooth when the rocks and colours within the cave have come out sharp and clear.

Rocks

So it looks like most of the falls will be bluffs of hard grit/sandstone showing off its right angles, but this is one within some seams of limestone, isn't it?

Re: Rocks

I would guess as when I was at the top of the waterfall it is limestone coloured...! And looks very hard wearing.

Re: Rocks

Not Far:

Hi there,
Its not far from that region the waterfall country part of South Wales.
This paticular fall/cave is nearer to the Town of Abergavenny over the eastern side of South Wales.
