Watzmann and St. Bartholomä

Situated on the shore of the Königssee, the Gasthof and the baroque church of St. Bartholomä face the Watzmann group with it's impressive limestone walls. Autumn was at it's peak on November 1st, 2015, when I took this shot in the morning hours.

Biergarten

I think in summer by that house there is a Biergarten. Or, at least it was a few years ago. When we came there after 3 hot days of trekking, quite tired, Jasmina ordered some food, but I wished only a beer. The conversation with the waiter went like this (in my "perfect" German):
- "One beer, please."
- "What kind of beer?"
- "A big one. Half liter."
- "Here, that's a small beer."
- ...

"Oh, how I love this country!", I thought for myself. So, I drank two small beers - for the first time in my life.
