Great pic!!It should be Geum reptans, in Switzerland also called Gletscher Petersbart, in German Kriechende Bergnelkenwurz. I saw many of them in the Glarus Alps this summer; they are among the pioneer plants on barren slopes fixing the soil with their many sprouting branches.

When trying to find out the name, I looked at various species of the Geum subfamily, but the the Geum reptans species wasn't among them. But I just googled the name, and both the flowers and the description fit the bill very well, so that must be it.

So far they never failed on showing me the right species. It is quite easy: you search for flower colour and month of bloom. Then you browse through the pictures of all the alpine flowers which fit in your search.
