I tip my hat to you Chad for creating this page and for your devotion to making it to the top. Like you, I appreciate how close many of the destinations in Yosemite are to those of us who live in the Bay Area. I've visited the park all my life, enjoyed the Yosemite Mountaineering School back in the days I was into trad, and in recent days I've been enjoying visiting the tops of peaks I only gazed at admiringly during backpack and day hikes over the years.

Great Climbs
Climbed most of these summits in 2010 as part of an excuse to limit the length of my drives to the mountains. Was extremely pleased with the quality and remoteness of these peaks, definitely recommended. Finished with the NW ridge of North Peak in August 2011, perhaps my favorite route (Whorl stands out as my most enjoyable trip though).
