The Trees

"There is trouble in the Forest, And the Creatures all have fled, As the Maples scream oppression, And the Oaks just shake their heads. So the maples formed a union, And demanded equal rights. "These oaks are just too greedy; We will make them give us light ..." Not sure what these Aspens want. We'd do them justice by giving them nothing at all, except for our time and admiration. This is the "Waterline trail" beneath the mighty aspen grove near the Inner Basin of northern AZ's San Francisco Peaks.
