I had a green canteenjust like the one in this photo. It reminds me of the backpacking trips my Dad took me on during that era. In 1974 I spent a week in the Yellowstone backcountry at Heart Lake. Thanks for triggering the memories!

Re: I had a green canteenYou're welcome! I kept that plastic canteen around for many years and finally threw it out a couple of years ago - couldn't get that old musty smell out no matter what.
